For my Final semester enrolled at the University of West Georgia I have had the amazing opportunity to learn many new techniques and styles. My Graphic Design VI course and the Senior Capstone Project go hand and hand. For my senior project I asked the question, How might we bridge the gap between the black community and police law enforcement through diversity and representation in entertainment and the media. After a very long and very necessary process I came to the conclusion that the best way to solve this issue would be to create the example I wish to see in the world.
The Project is called Proud Humans and the Premise is '200 years in the future, the uncontrollable evolution of science and technology has caused crime rates to rise an astounding 300%. To combat this, the overwhelmed police force has implemented a new policy: every human police officer is paired with a lifelike combat-model android.'
For my show I plan to write and create 3 chapters of a graphic novel and present them as a collection series. As for right now I have been mainly focusing on reworking the project logo and writing and revising the script before moving forward with ta story board.
