I have thoroughly enjoy all my processes throughout the duration of this project. I have tried many different iterations but there are only a handful that I have actually enjoyed. I feel like at first i got caught up in what all of my work should look like in the end which didnt really help my beginning.
There where many different methods that I tried. The one I liked the most was when I watered down some black acrylic paint and tried to paint the word Macbeth but it just wouldn't come out right but I liked one of the strokes I had made. I decided to take a photo of that stroke and blow it up in the computer. With the help of Photoshop brush I was able to touch up some of the brush strokes. I then brought the imagery back into adobe illustrator.
Once in illustrator I was able to create hierarchy using one of my most desired typefaces , Antonio. (it is also the same typeface that i used in the earlier posters above.) The color black was much too harsh so I decided to go with a grey. Below is the final product.
In the end I am happy with all the different iterations I actually came up with. Though I would like to see where I could go with this if I had more time to pursue a Tribal theme. I remember the woman that came to talk to us in class she mentioned something about the witches in the play having tribal themed costumes.
Overall there are many errors and after further review in class I have come to the conclusion to go ahead and continue to really iron out these minor details and to pursue some oother type of ideas.
